No, I didn’t jump on the bandwagon with a New Years post. Just not my style… so business as usual. Speaking of which, business in my gym comes first. This website is mostly just a hobby… one that I love very much. But I do want to apologize for not updating the site nearly enough. Are we still friends?

Holy shit this is an epic article. Seriously. You want a kick in the pants? Read this. Now. I don’t care if your goals pertain to fitness, business, or whatever.
I’ve been reading more of Dewey Nielsen’s stuff and he recently wrote what I consider to be an excellent article about Crossfit. I agree with it wholeheartedly. Favorite line from the article… “Crossfit is not a thought-out progressive exercise system, it is an extreme sport done with strength training tools.” So true… at least true in the context of how I’m seeing most CF “professionals” handle their training.
Nia Shanks has been on a roll. She recently wrote a beginner’s strength training article for women that I think many of you will enjoy.
This is a great rant on the Science of Running blog about Crossfit and in particular the Crossfit Endruance methodologies. Decent follow-up discussion under the article too.
